The Legacy Behind The Signal
Why Radio Chris 25?
Honoring a hero, spreading the message of hope.
Our Beginning
There were three children in our family. I was the oldest, then Mark and Chris. We grew up in the country outside Charlotte, N.C., roaming the woods looking for treasures; Going to church every Sunday; and having family over for birthdays, holidays and cookouts. All three of us were in Boy Scouts. Both my brothers earned their Eagle Awards. We rode bikes, dirt bikes, go carts and generally had a great middle class life.
I Left home first to pursue a broadcasting career; Mark went to college and became an engineer. Chris took ROTC in High School and then joined the Army. He went on to apply and be accepted into the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. He became a mission specialist crew chief on a Black Hawk. On February 21, 1991, the unexpected happened to our family. We became a Gold Star Family. At just 25 years old; Christopher Jones Chapman lost his life serving our country.

A Vow of Remembrance
I have dedicated the station first to the Lord, and to honor my brother, and all of the men and women who have served our country in the military and I vow to remember those who lost their life in service for all of us in America.
Please Remember those families who have lost their loved ones and PLEASE pray for the men and women who continue to stand between our enemies and our freedom.

The Spirit of the “25th Hour”
While the world operates on a standard 24-hour cycle, Radio Chris 25 symbolizes the concept of an “extra hour.” A beautiful, dedicated space outside of time reserved strictly for deep devotion, constant remembrance of our heroes, and unyielding faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We stream 25/7 because legacy never sleeps.
An Old Soldier’s Prayer
I have fought when others feared to serve.
I have gone where others failed to go.
I’ve lost friends in war and strife,
Who valued Duty more than love of life.
I have shared the comradeship of pain.
I have searched the lands for men that we have lost.
I have sons who served this land of liberty,
Who would fight to see that other stricken lands are free.
I have seen the weak forsake humanity.
I have heard the traitors praise our enemy.
I’ve seen challenged men become even bolder,
I’ve seen the Duty, Honor, Sacrifice of the Soldier.
Now I understand the meaning of our lives,
The loss of comrades not so very long ago.
So to you who have answered duties siren call,
May God bless you my son, may God bless you all.
